1.  Emphasised need for reform of Child Maintenance system in House of Commons debate on Lords amendments to the Welfare Reform Bill – raised issue of inflexibility and inadequacies in the system as the reason for non-resident parents often not paying their share of child support (Read more)2.  Chaired a meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Athletics – heard from the Chairman of UK Athletics looking ahead to an exciting year for athletics in the UK, as well as reflecting on the network of clubs, coaches and volunteers that make such an important contribution to the sport at a grassroots level3.  Hosted House of Commons dinner on behalf of Leicester Shire Promotions – provided the opportunity to promote the strengths of the Great Central Railway as a unique and well-established visitor attraction to key audiences of influencers and end users at both a local...
