CARMICHAEL LAUNCHES NORTHERN ISLES DIGITAL FORUMS  

Isles Parliamentarian Alistair Carmichael MP today launched the Northern Isles Digital Forum.The Forum will bring together representatives from some of the major digital network providers and will give people in the Northern Isles the opportunity to discuss some of difficulties they experience with their mobile phone and internet services.Participants include Highlands and Islands Enterprise, who are leading a high speed internet pilot project, Shetland Islands Council and mobile network ‘Everything Everywhere’.The Shetland Forum will take place on 14 February at the Islesburgh Community Centre between 3pm and 5pm.
