Support for start-up businesses  

Last week the Prime Minister announced a new nationwide campaign in which the Government will look to work with the private sector to highlight the support available for start ups and also smaller growing businesses.I have long said that small businesses are the engine room of the economy, (a remark also used by the PM in his conference speech last October in Manchester), so any support the Government can provide is, in my eyes, extremely welcome. There are various strands to the campaign but the belief is that there is "a business in everyone" and the campaign is aimed to help people realise their business ambitions. As well as a campaign of media advertising, which is fine for highlighting success stories as a inspirational tool, there is also tangible advice and help available.
