Glossop Bypass meeting organised by Andrew

The ongoing issue of the Mottram-Tintwistle bypass was discussed again last Friday, at a meeting in Glossop convened by local Conservative MP Andrew Bingham.The meeting saw MPs and local councils come together to discuss the issues surrounding the bypass, with Stalybridge & Hyde MP Jonathan Reynolds present, as well as representatives from Derbyshire County Council, High Peak Borough Council, Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, The Peak Park, the Highways Agency and the Department of Transport.The meeting was held to bring together the key agencies responsible for either directly or indirectly any potential development, to discuss the current state of play and potential opportunities in the future.
