Whilst 2012 will doubtless be an exciting and memorable year for the country, with the Olympic Games and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee taking place, we still face difficult financial times dealing with the deficit, and the ongoing problems faced by the countries within the Eurozone. As neighbours France and other European countries face having their credit ratings downgraded, here in Britain we will have to continue to be wary of the knock on effects of these actions to our own economies. It is thankful that we are not part of the Euro but, even outside the Eurozone, these problems prove a threat to our economy in 2012.The National Citizenship Service (NCS) was set up by the Government last year with pilots that offered places to a few thousand young people.
