Campaigning for Financial Education

There was a debate in the Chamber of the House last week regarding financial education in schools. Another subject nominated by the Backbench Business Committee following it attaining over 100,000 signatures on an e-petition, it is something that has cross party support.An All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on the subject was set up and it is now the largest such group in Westminster, carrying the backing of over 200 MPs together with personalities such as Carol Vorderman and Martyn Lewis of Moneysavingexpert.com.
