Evennett calls for action on Hospital PFI costs  

David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, raised the problems caused by expensive Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contracts during Health Questions in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 22 November. Mr Evennett said that poorly negotiated PFI deals for hospitals in the South London Healthcare NHS Trust are causing real financial problems and have led to the downgrading of Queen Mary’s hospital in my borough of Bexley.
