A fantastic Fireworks Fiesta  

  Last weekend my family and I were delighted to attend the excellent Fireworks Fiesta evening on Barry Island.  The 38th fireworks extravaganza, organised by Barry Rotary Club in aid of local and international charities proved to be a huge success once again. The annual event was more popular than ever, (particularly after last year’s rain) with thousands of people enjoying the fireworks display that was bigger and better than ever.  The good weather meant that everyone was able to enjoy the fun, fireworks and music provided – as well as enjoy the delights of the Island traders.  I would like to personally congratulate David Ball, President of Barry Rotary Club and Rotary club members, on what must have been a tremendous amount of hard work to organise the whole event.  My thanks too, to Dinas Powys, Llantwit Major and Barry Vale Rotary who also helped Barry Rotary Club with...
