Paul Burstow welcomes £12mn boost for more school places

The Government announced this week (3rd Nov) an extra £500m will be provided to local Councils across the country to help them meet pressure for more school places. Local MP Paul Burstow who had been lobbying for Government support has welcomed this announcement as it will mean that the London Borough Sutton will receive an extra £12,079,702 to ensure the borough has enough school places for local children. Commenting Mr Burstow said: "Like me, I'm sure that local parents will welcome the great news that the Government is investing an £12,079,702 in increasing Sutton's schools' capacity.
