ANNETTE BROOKE MP CHAMPIONS IMPROVED DEMENTIA CARE FOR MID DORSET AND NORTH POOLE
For World Alzheimer's Day (21st September), Mid Dorset and North Poole MP, Annette Brooke has been calling on local health services to help improve standards of care in Alzheimer's disease (AD) by following the latest advice from the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) on drug treatment. Earlier this month, Annette Brooke met with Professor Peter Passmore at the Houses of Parliament to discuss the increasing numbers of people affected by AD in Mid Dorset and North Poole and how the current treatment options recommended by NICE may help improve patient care.
