My message to Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg

Dear Jens, It is with the greatest sadness that I write to you today to express my and my Party’s sympathy for your Party and your country, following the atrocities that happened yesterday in Norway. Along with millions around the world I have watched with horror as the events have unfolded and the magnitude of the tragedy that Norway has experienced has been revealed. As the Leader of the British Labour Party I want to pass on our deepest condolences to the Arbeiderparti, to the Arbeidernes Ungdomsfylking, and of course to the families and friends of all those who lost loved ones, and are suffering such immeasurable loss. You spoke movingly and with great dignity yesterday of the strength of the values that unite not just the Labour Party in Norway, but the whole Norwegian people.   We stand in solidarity with you all at this most terrible of times.
