Austin puts forward local firms for ‘Made by Britain’ launch  

Dudley MP Ian Austin is calling on local manufacturers to take part in a Government-run scheme to promote UK manufacturing. The ‘Made by Britain’, initiative will be launched officially on Wednesday 6 July. Firms from across the country are being invited to submit details of the products they manufacture – from fish fingers to ejector seats – to display the best of British ingenuity and quality. The results will be presented to the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Vice Cable, and displayed on an interactive online map.
