Austin calls on local residents to lobby Council

Dudley MP Ian Austin wants local residents to lobby Council bosses over the closure of the Borough’s Benefits Shop. The service, which is being cut in a bid to save £200,000, provides free and confidential financial advice. Austin is warning that scrapping the service will result in local residents losing out and Dudley receiving lower levels of government grants in the future He wants local residents to call, write and email the Conservative councillors in charge of the Council to ask them to think again.
