British Legion thank Austin over military covenant agreement. The British Legion has thanked Dudley MP Ian Austin for his role in getting the Government to enshrine the military covenant in law. Last month, after months of campaigning from the British Legion, service personnel and MPs from across Parliament, David Cameron announced plans to put the covenant on a formal legal footing.
