Bridget sees lifesavers in action  

Local MP, Bridget Phillipson has shadowed nurses at Sunderland’s Royal Hospital to highlight the vital work they do for the NHS. Bridget’s visit comes in the same week, Shadow Secretary of State for Health, John Healy hit out at the Tory-led governments plans for NHS reform, saying they will leave the service fragmented and take it backwards. The Royal College of Nursing has also warned of the damage the Tory-led government’s actions will do, and have passed a vote of ‘no confidence’ in the government’s management of the NHS.
