Parliament returns on Monday, but I have been able to spend the last two weeks in our area, and have held four Advice Centres – including the first in Ilchester since this area came back into Yeovil Constituency at the General Election. I will also be holding one of my Roving Advice Centres this Friday in Merriott, and next week I will be doing the same in Yeovil West. Last week I was delighted to have the opportunity of visiting the new hospital which is being built in South Petherton. It does not seem that long ago that Mary Robertson (of the League of Friends) and I laid the foundation stone for the new hospital, and now the construction work is far advanced.   I visited the hospital site last Wednesday with Jan Hull, the Deputy Chief Executive of the Somerset NHS Primary Care Trust.
