Africans for Labour back David  

Dear David, AfL is minded – and proud – to back you for Leader of the Labour Party. As Foreign Secretary you travelled widely in Africa and made some significant and powerful speeches touching on issues very close to the hearts of AfL members including health issues including the eradication of malaria, poverty reduction, offering UK help to train our leaders and promising not to support weak and corrupt governments. We also believe that you will keep your promise on making changes both in the Labour Party and the UK when we next get back into power and you are Prime Minister.   We are concerned that the African community have received scant support and little acknowledgment for their contribution to UK society.
