Diane says “I’m in it to win it” as ballots drop today

Diane has reiterated her passion for becoming Labour's next leader by saying she won't be backing any of her rivals, because she wants to win. Diane has been in a strong third position throughout the campaign and has gathered support from party members and trade unionists. Ballots for the leadership have begun to be distributed today to party members, who along with trade unions and MPs, will decide who will be the next leader of the Labour Party. The announcement will be made on September 25, but people can still join the party right up until September 8 and have a vote. Diane said today: “Many people have asked me to state which of the other candidates I am backing as my second preference.
