Your personal public spending

Numerous bloggers have taken up the challenge to answer my question, do you value the £10,000 of public spending which is your average share of the total? How would you like your share spent? It is time to look a bit more at what we all get for our money. Some of you have been critical of the idea that some part of your £10,000 should go to the neighbours. In practise most of the tax paid by people in good jobs goes to other people. We have a very progressive system, which gives quite large sums to people out of work (income related benefits, social housing etc)by taking larger sums from those in well paid work. Our system of public spending includes three types of spending.
