Lollypop for World’s End

After many months of campaigning and lobbying of the City Council, it has been confirmed to Gisela this week that a School Crossing Warden has been appointed for World’s End Lane School, following the return of his CRB clearance and successful medical checks. The new School Crossing Warden will be in place outside the School week beginning the 6th September 2010. Gisela said: “Credit is due to the parents for refusing to accept the initial decision by the Council to not fund a Warden.   I am proud to have been a part of this campaign to pressure the Council to reconsider. I look forward to welcoming the new Warden at the beginning of the new term”. ...
