Human Rights Report  

Yesterday we launched the 12th FCO Human Rights Report . I re-read it on the plane from China. It's in some ways a depressing read; lots of abuse in lots of places. But it is also a testimony to huge amounts of commitment from FCO staff, and of the enormous bravery from people in countries that do not enjoy the freedoms we take for granted.
