PM calls for more women in boardrooms

The Prime Minister has called for more women in Britain’s boardrooms as he met leading female executives at a breakfast meeting to mark International Women’s Day. At the meeting, Gordon Brown said politicians and businesses need to work together to ensure the talent and skills of women are properly represented in the boardroom. Gordon Brown  congratulated the attending women on the “huge contribution” they have  made  to bringing about change.
