The Spring Forum will be an important launch pad for our General Election Campaign. The Voluntary Party is a vital part of the jigsaw that will hopefully take us to victory. The volunteers matter – we are a large group of people; members, registered supporters, friends, and many others who support MPs, Councillors, Candidates and specific campaigns. We are organised, effective, open and welcoming to all. We provide the activists that deliver our campaigns on the ground, and we raise very large sums of money. Our most recent accounts show that Local Associations raised over £25m in the last published period, paying for the local campaigning that elects our nearly 10,000 Councillors. This volunteer fighting force has been working to win our target seats for nearly 5 years and over the coming weeks our numbers will swell… to create a force unmatched by any other political party.
