Yes to the Robin Hood tax

George Osborne’s claims that “we’re all in this together” when he again  proposed his plans for massive, deep and rapid public spending cuts at the last Tory Party conference was treated with the contempt it deserved  by the majority of the general public, despite the joy it  brought to seried right wing media outlets. I never saw the eye-watering bankers’ bonuses being handed out on the streets of my constituency and I’m  absolutely certain I never will. Moreover, despite the absolute necessity (and success so far) of Labour’s bail out of the banks, like most people I am  angry about the  effect this has had upon public finances and by the sheer fact that my taxes (yes, MPs pay them) are being used to prop up the very institutions which caused the mess andwhich may result in rising taxes in the future. A potentially inescapable ‘double-whammy’...
