Gisela Stuart welcomes the Government’s action to address unemployment in the under 25 age group, “Every parent and grandparent worries about future opportunities for their offspring. We all want our children to experience and succeed in employment to guarantee their independence and growth in confidence.” In the White Paper Building Britain’s Recovery: Achieving Full Employment (published on 15 December 2009) The Government announced that after 6 months’ unemployment, young people under 25 will be guaranteed new job opportunities, training or work experience.
