MP & MSP CONDEMN CHANCELLOR’S TAX RAID
Working families and NHS amongst those hit Moray’s MP Angus Robertson and MSP Richard Lochhead have condemned the Chancellor’s increase in National Insurance, which will not only take money from hard-working and hard-pressed families, but also puts undue pressure on public services. The cost of the increase in NI will amount to over four million pounds for NHS Grampian alone, not to mention local authorities, Emergency Services and the many other public agencies whose costs will rise by tens of millions. That means less money for frontline services and more syphoned off by the Treasury.
