New Beverley Hospital given greenlight by planners

New Beverley Hospital Planners today approved plans for the new Beverley Hospital to be built. MP for Beverley and Holderness, Graham Stuart,  said he was delighted with news a new hospital has been granted planning permission.  Graham said: “This has been a long hard battle and many people have worked very hard towards this day.  â€œIt is such good news, not just for Beverley, but for residents across the whole of Holderness who will have access to the best possible hospital facilities.”  And he added: “Thanks should go to the Primary Care Trust which has pushed for this hospital despite some fears about where it was to be sited. I am glad these have been addressed and that now the PCT can move forward with building the hospital.  â€œJust five years ago we feared we would lose all the hospital beds in Beverley and Holderness.
