MP wishes Clipper crews safe journey  

Hull and Humber Clipper Graham Stuart, MP for Beverley and Holderness, said he wished all those setting sail on the Clipper 09-10 Round the World Yacht Race the very best of luck.  He said: “The race, and in particular, the Hull and Humber Clipper, will be taking the name of this area around the world again. Crewing the vessel are people from across the area and from all walks of life.  â€œI wish all of them well and hope they are able to go one better than the crew of the Clipper 07-08 race and come first.”  More than 430 people from 33 nations are taking part in this year's race. It is also the first time the full complement of 10 vessels, all identical, have taken part in the race.
